About me

I'm Heba Aly

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science Department at Clemson University, where I am a member of the Humans and Technology Laboratory (HATLab) under the mentorship of Dr. Bart Knijnenburg. I hold a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Egypt, where I gained experience in machine learning and brain-computer interfaces. My primary research focuses on User Experience (UX), usable privacy and security, privacy education for older adults, bias in AI and addressing racial and gender disparities.
